Please read this contract carefully as it is a legally binding document. Initial all paragraphs and complete the last page. All fields are mandatory. If you cannot fill out a section or disagree with the contents of any portion, please contact Red Road Rescue to discuss. Thank you for adopting!
The Adoption Fee is $295. All dogs will be spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccines prior to adoption. Copies of vet records for the dog will be sent via email. Microchip information will be sent via USPS. The adoption fee is non-refundable after 7 days.

Terms & Conditions*
- To provide nutritious food, continuous water and shelter (the dog will not sleep outside or be an “outside” dog).
- To keep dog current on immunizations and provide veterinary care on a regular basis.
- To provide heartworm and flea and tick protection on a monthly basis.
- To ensure dog wears a collar with proper identification tags at all times.
- To comply with all local laws and ordinances relating to licensing and leash laws.
- To give the dog attention and love daily and to arrange for appropriate care if I am away.
- Not to leave the dog unattended in a car or allow it to ride in an open area of a vehicle (such as the back of a truck).
- To email Red Road Rescue at info@redroadrescue.org if circumstances change and I am unable to keep the dog. Red Road Rescue is under no obligation to take the dog back into our program, but in some cases, we may be able to assist in rehoming the dog.
- I understand that adopting a dog is a commitment to care for it for the pet’s lifetime, which can exceed 15 years, and that the care can sometimes be expensive.
- I understand that some canine health problems are not detectable and that Red Road Rescue makes no guarantee about the disposition or total health of the dog I am adopting.
- I understand that the dog I adopt comes home on a 7-day trial basis. If any unforeseen health or behavioral problems arise during the trial period, I may return the pet and receive a refund of the Adoption Fee.
- This document is a legally binding Agreement between the Adopter(s) and Red Road Rescue. If legal action must be taken to enforce the terms of this Agreement, Red Road Rescue may recover all fees and costs.
